     As fall ends and winter begins the Bald Cypress trees of southern Louisiana go through a variety of colors from fresh green in spring to rich shades of rustic copper in winter.  Cold north winds approach the trees and surrounding flora and fauna in preparation for the stillness and restfulness of winter.
     This picture was done in one of the canals in which the famous Annie Miller took countless travelers to view the awesome beauty of the fresh waters of southern Louisiana
